Discover Bradford’s Textile Heritage
Step into the world of Bradford’s late 20th-century textile industry with Unspun Stories, an immersive digital journey created by 509 Arts and the Colour Foundry in partnership with The Space for Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture. This captivating installation blends archive film footage, projections, and soundscapes with audio recordings from textile workers of the 1970’s onwards.
Experience the Magic
- Video Projections: Watch mesmerizing video projections bringing the past to life.
- Soundscapes and Music: Immerse yourself in the sounds of the mills and original compositions by Nick Lewis, accompanied by live musical performances on Saturday and Sunday.
- Interactive Installation: Experience the installation from different viewpoints with seating available for those who need it.
Event Highlights
- Continuous Showings: The 20-minute installation runs continuously throughout the day, allowing you to enter and leave at any time.
- Online Version: Can’t make it in person? An online screen-based version of the installation will be available from late March.
